Professor dr. Linas Rovas takes care of women‘s health and specialised in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology since 1990. Throughout more than 28 years of practice doctor not only gained the trust of patients, but also the recognition among his colleagues. Professor is an active member of Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG). He is also certified as a specialist by Fetal Medicine Foundation UK and the Fetal Medicine Foundation Germany.
The expert of obstetrics and gynaecology has an international work experience as well: in 2013 – 2015 he worked as obstetrician – gynaecologist at Midland Regional Hospital, Portaloise, Ireland.

Maternity and foetal medicine are the main fields of doctor’s specialization. He is also a highly skilled specialist in ultrasound examinations in obstetrics and gynaecology.

Dr. Linas Rovas is very well – known for his academic work. In 2000 – 2005 doctor studied at Lund University, Sweden, where he defended his doctoral dissertation. Professor L. Rovas aquired his professional competences and managmenet skills in Lithuania. He officiated as a Head of Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Mažeikiai Central Hospital, where he previously worked as an obstetrician – gynaecologist for 10 years. Doctor also was a Head of Perinatology Centre ar Klaipėda University Hospital, he was the founder of the first independent obstetrics department in Lithuania at the same hospital. Also L. Rovas was general manager of Clinic For Women and Children under The Republican Hospital of Šiauliai.
